Star anise spice drying process:

  Before using the heat pump dryer to dry the star anise spice, it is necessary to remove the green first, so that the color after drying can meet the requirements.Put the star anise spice in the boiling water for about 3 minutes. When the color of the star anise spice turns yellow a little, pick it up, spread it to the heat pump dryer drying room, and turn on the air energy dryer for drying.
  First, set the heat pump dryer to drying mode, set the temperature to 60°C, and dry for 1 hour. Note that there is no need for dehumidification at this stage, mainly for color control. Next, set the drying mode of the heat pump dryer to drying + dehumidification, the temperature is adjusted to 55 ℃, and drying for 3 hours. Note that a lot of dehumidification is required at this stage. Then keep the drying + dehumidification mode, adjust the temperature to 50 ℃, and dry for 3 hours. Note that a large amount of dehumidification should be carried out at this stage and continue to maintain the drying + dehumidification mode, the temperature is adjusted to 45 ℃, and the drying is for 3 hours. Note that there is relatively little moisture at this stage, so it can be drained slowly. Finally, set the mode to drying mode, adjust the temperature to 65°C, and finish drying after 2 hours.
