How to Dry Fritillaria/Dehydrate Fritillaria in a Dehydrator
Fritillaria is a perennial herb. The bulbs are used for medicinal purposes. Produced in China's Qinghai, Sichuan, Yun, Gansu and other places. 1.Excavate
When the leaves of Fritillaria start to turn yellow and wither, the root bulbs can be harvested at this time. The fritillary from the excavation cannot be held in your hand for a long time. At the same time, handle the fritillaria gently to avoid damage to the bulbs.
2. Cleaning
Freshly excavated fritillaria resembles a lily, so you need to pour it into a washing machine to clean up the soil on the bulbs and rinse them repeatedly.
3. Drain
The washed fritillary is divided into boxes according to size, then spread out, drain the water and wait for slices to dry.
4. Slicing
When slicing, pay attention to the thickness. Smaller fritillaries with a diameter of less than 2 cm should be sliced with a slicer or dried directly. Larger fritillaries with a diameter of more than 2 cm should be sliced manually. The thickness should be 4-6 mm.

The initial temperature of Fritillaria was set at 45 ℃, and then slowly raised to 50 ℃ - 55 ℃. It should be noted that the temperature should not exceed 75 ℃ so as not to affect the chemical composition of Fritillaria. The optimal temperature setting is 60 ℃ - 65 ℃ and the drying time is about 20-24 hours.
