The general blanching time is 2 to 4 minutes. Leafy vegetables are not blanched.
The third step: cooling, draining
Precooked vegetables should be cooled immediately (usually with cold water) to quickly reduce to room temperature. After cooling, in order to shorten the dehydration time, a centrifuge can be used to shake off the water, or a simple manual method can be used to squeeze it.Step 4: Vegetable dehydration
Put the processed vegetables on a clean tray, and then place them in a ventilated place under the sun. Long dehydration times usually take a week. The moisture content of dried vegetables cannot be controlled, and the dehydration of various parts of the vegetables is uneven.
