Coffee beans, divided into washed and dried, lentils and round beans. Coffee beans come in dark and light colors. After a dark roast, the beans are bursting, doubling their volume and reducing their weight by nearly 1/4. The coffee beans gradually produce volatile flavor oils during the roasting process, resulting in a perfect balance of flavors.Coffee is one of the most widely consumed beverages in the world, and coffee seeds are a major cash crop and an important export product. Processing coffee beans is inseparable from the drying step. Then, how to dry coffee beans? There are two methods, one is natural drying, the other is manual drying. Natural method
Spread the threshed coffee on the prepared drying field for drying. The thickness of the seeds is generally about 10 cm. When the water content of the seeds is high, it can be appropriately thinner. On the contrary, when the water content of the seeds is not very high, it should be appropriately thicker. It should be turned frequently when drying to allow the seeds to dry evenly. After about 1-2 weeks, Until the coffee beans burst. Then after a week of storage, the ground coffee will be the best.
This traditional method of drying coffee bean is economical and does not require any investment. However, because the drying effect is greatly affected by the environment and is not easy to control and even defective coffee bean may appear. What’s more, the traditional drying process is time-consuming and labor-consuming, and drying coffee beans requires a huge space, if you want to dry coffee beans in large quantities, it is recommended that you use a professional coffee bean drying machine.
Manual processing
The method of manual processing is to use a professional coffee bean drying room. The coffee bean dryer room is equipped with a small cart with a tray and a tray rack. When we dry the coffee bean, we lay coffee bean in the tray, put it on the tray rack of the cart, and then push it into the coffee bean drying room for drying.
The heat source of the coffee bean drying room is air. The heat in the air is absorbed by the heat pump compressor. After compression and release, a large amount of high-temperature hot air can be obtained, so as to realize the continuous and uniform drying and processing of coffee bean.
